“Chikara” (strength). I painted this work following the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Chikara represents Japan and the forces of nature. The earth in the middle of a ball of fire. The golden lines represent the movements of the wind and the sea. The Kanji (calligraphy) “Force” is the symbol of strength. Geometric form similar to the movements of dance.
