“Percussions II” In this work, a field of white flowers in intense light. Each flower sings and dances to a percussion concerto. On the horizon, a blue sky where the sun’s rays transform the clouds into huge floating caravels. This gives a feeling of freedom.
Zen
The inspiration for this painting comes from Kamakura where I lived for 12 years. This traditional city is located on the waterfront not far from Tokyo. One can discover there many temples and sanctuaries, which regularly offer us wonderful Japanese gardens.

Kamakura II
Kamakura is a seaside town on the Pacific Ocean, only 50 kilometres south of Tokyo, with its many temples and the great Buddha. The sunsets are particularly beautiful, a light that emerges from the darkness.
