Yami no hikari
“Yami no hikari” Scenes reflected in the light called darkness. The intensity of the light gives us a dreamlike atmosphere that dominates the canvas. We capture the atmosphere and then feel carried away into a fantastic and mysterious landscape.

“Percussions II” In this work, a field of white flowers in intense light. Each flower sings and dances to a percussion concerto. On the horizon, a blue sky where the sun’s rays transform the clouds into huge floating caravels. This gives a feeling of freedom.

The inspiration for this painting comes from Kamakura where I lived for 12 years. This traditional city is located on the waterfront not far from Tokyo. One can discover there many temples and sanctuaries, which regularly offer us wonderful Japanese gardens.
