In this surreal situation of the Corona, it is important to have art that enriches people’s hearts. With this in mind, I created a “mobile art museum” and an exhibition on 4 wheels. 

With the prolonged disaster of the Corona, art activities have been in great difficulty. That is why I wanted to load the statue of Manneken-pis onto a light truck and travel around the country to meet many smiling faces.

Manneken-pis, now 600 years old, is a hero who calmed the disaster.

When enemy troops surrounded the city of Brussels and tried to blow up the city walls, a little boy peed on the wick to put out the fire, which is said to be the origin of the name ‘Manneken-pis’.

I sincerely hope that I can put out the wick and save the country from this surreal Corona situation, which has managed to paralyse the cultural and economic world. 

It is a real treasure for me to meet so many happy people through this exhibition.
