The painting “The Red Sun” was painted in Belgium. After the Tsunami in Japan in 2011, the artist and his Japanese wife Tomomi decided to move temporarily to their studio in Belgium. After a few years of absence, nostalgia for the beautiful landscapes of the Land of the Rising Sun has never ceased to cross his mind. So “The Red Sun” was born in his studio in Damme, a small historical village near Bruges.
